Very successful city law firm is keen to recruit an IT Project Manager. The successful applicant will be the primary contact for internal clients throughout the entire project life cycle and take the lead on all technical projects from the initial stage of scoping out requirements to writing business case documents and finally the implementation of solutions chosen. Key responsibilities will be to drive forward and coordinate the multiple projects that the department is undertaking on a continuous basis by: • Producing comprehensive project plans, taking input from technical and firmwide resources, detailing scope, roles, responsibilities, budgets, timescales and resources • Assigning tasks to the various people involved in the project • Ensuring that key milestones are completed on time and in accordance with defined requirements and agreed budgets • Managing the competing priorities of multiple projects • Selling the benefits of projects to relevant contacts within the firm in order to gain commitment • Obtaining sign off from sponsors of projects and key contacts within the firm You will be a highly motivated individual who will be able to deal effectively with conflicting requirements and with strong communication skills which you will use to manage expectations of senior stakeholders, 3rd parties, vendors and suppliers. A minimum of three years successful project delivery experience running a diverse portfolio of projects including application development, software configuration and implementation, infrastructure deployment, office moves, etc using Prince and/or Agile methodologies is required and a Prince Foundation or Practitioner qualifications desirable.
