An experienced Head of HR who is familiar with leading a team and working directly with a Partnership board/Chief Executive and Managing Partner on an initial 3 month contract is sought by a top 100 law firm. A selection of duties will include: •Management of employee relations, ensuring that all matters are handled appropriately in line with Firm policy and legislative requirements. •Management of firm appraisal process, including attending fee earner appraisals, and ensuring completion of appraisals across the firm. •Manage recruitment for fee earners and support staff including preparing job descriptions, briefing agencies, conducting interviews and making offers. •Management of online flexible benefits platform and MI reporting. Including pensions and the ongoing management of Auto Enrolment. •Responsible for induction and on boarding program for all new employees including probation follow ups. •Continued implementation and management of the firms CSR programme. •Management of the firm’s reward structure including an annual salary review, benefit renewals and provision of market salary information. •Maintaining and updating the employee handbook in line with firm policy and legislative changes. •Management of adhoc HR projects as directed by the management committee and partnership. You will relish the opportunity to hit the ground running and be comfortable with picking up ER matters that are outstanding.
